Our Story
In January of 2002, a group of Chester citizens decided to renew the task of building an Arts Center in Chester. "Building communities through the arts truly enhances our quality of life." This effort, which was first undertaken a decade ago, is built upon work, explorations, and disscussions with citizens, community groups and members of the County government. The Arts Center will be built on County land adjacent to the Chester Library. The Foundation, in partnership with the County, will bring cultural arts to Chesterfield County and our surrounding communitites.
